My Dachshund is pregnant. The good thing is, it's to our male Dachshund, but I want to know if there is any post delivery care I need to give her?

Some people take dogs to the vet for a check up but most don't. You really must give her good food, not generic! She should be eating a puppy food now and continue after the pups are born. It really is a good idea for it to be dry for several reasons. She needs a quiet place to whelp (start setting that up now.) Don't allow a crowd in to watch the birth. Don't allow people to handle the pups too soon. Keep water available. Basically do for her what you would like for yourself: food, water, peace and quiet.
Oh yes! The best post-delivery care is to have her spayed and your male dog neutered. Please, there are too many dogs and not enough homes. Don't add to this misery. What are you going to do with the puppies?
