Aluminum Free Baking Powder

This is homemade baking powder that does not contain aluminum. I like it, since I want to keep aluminum out of my family's diet, and it works just as well as store bought baking powder.

Ingredients:

2 parts cream of tartar
1 part baking soda
1 part cornstarch or arrowroot

Directions:

Sift together all ingredients. Mix well and store in an airtight container.

If aluminum is so bad for us as some of the experts are saying, then it would seem that using a baking powder which doesn't include it would be very beneficial. It's easy enough to make our own obviously.
