"Hollywood Christmas" Themed Float?

My father is in the Amvets, they are wanting to make a float for the Christmas parade. The theme this year is "Hollywood Christmas" any ideas?

How about "It's a wonderful life"? Those were the true good Hollywood days with worthwhile messages.

How about a scene with a producer with a megaphone/camera, filming a scene about an AMVET helping someone in the hospital, or at a desk helping a disabled vet fill out paperwork, and you could have around the float a "sidewalk" looking walk of fame with the names of AMVET posts in the area or special amvetmembers with photos or founding members w/photos. I was just looking on the AMVET's site, they could do a "Silver Helmet Award" themed one, with the walk of stars being people who one this, and you could make a lg silver helmet for the float.

Either way, a banner making with a few words about the float (EX: AMVETS: Serving our veterns or AMVETS: the silver helmet award) I think helps people get an idea about the float.
