Shipping Large Mirrors?

I have 2 huge and very heavy mirrors that were my grandmothers and I need to ship them cross country. Does anybody have any ideas on how to ship them and through what company to ship them through?

I have used Fedex Ground shipping many times and have been very pleased. Package tracking & delivery confirmation are included with the regular shipping rate. They are less expensive than UPS or USPS and also have better service.

If they are particularly valuable, look into appraisal and insurance.
