I need to remove sharpie from a painted brick. It has been settled for about 5 days now. It is very important that I do not damage the paint on the brick. I've read that the magic eraser does wonders, but I cannot risk the chance of it messing up the paint. Please help! Thanks.
Try WD 40. It works on walls to remove this. Let it sit a bit.
Of course try a hidden place first.
The cheapest hairspray you have. Spray on and watch it roll down and away. No scrubbing needed.
Use a Magic Eraser
Try spray 409 let it settle in a bit and start scrubbing lighly so not scuff the paint and cause dicoloration.
use rubbing alcohol, it will come right off.

Use toothpaste, good luck.
Have you tried cotton balls soaked with rubbing alcohol or clorox and let sit about 20 min then remove and clean well?
Or maybe a clorox stain removal pen?
