Sesame Salad

Very different, but good!

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • Ad

  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. summer savory
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 lb. fresh spinach
  • 1/2 lb. lettuce
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions:

Brown first 4 ingredients in skillet, and drain on paper bag. Mix next 6 ingredients in small glass bowl and let set for at least an hour. Before serving, break lettuce and spinach in bowl. Add olive oil and toss. Then add herbs and vinegar; toss vigorously at least 25 times. Last of all, add browned mixture.
