$100 Dollar Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup cool water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Sift together dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and beat well at least 2 minutes. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.

Thanks Robin! My sister used to make this cake when she was a teenager. I loved it then, but as I was only 10 at the time, I didn't get her recipe. I have been looking for a copy of it all my adult life. (I will be 63 tomorrow. Thanks for the unexpected birthday gift!!!)
What kind of frosting would you recommend with it? Hers was Chocolate.

I made this cake today and it is fabulous! I have never had a homemade cake turn out so moist. We ate ours plain! Thanks bunches!
