Put in a scoop of Oxi-Clean. I love that stuff! Makes your colors pop!
I was looking for the same solution today and tried the suggestion of using 1 cup of dishwasher detergent(Cascade) and 1/4 cup of bleach diluted in 1 gallon of very hot water. I used a plastic pan but stainless steel was also suggested. I soaked the white fabrics that had turned grey for about 25 minutes.
