Is there a good shampoo to help your hair grow faster?

I don't know if there is a shampoo for that, but I find that as I shampoo my hair, massaging the scalp with my finger-tips helps to stimulate hair growth. Mine grows faster than I really want it to; I have a haircut about every 4 - 6 weeks.
I was a hairstylist for 35 years so I can tell you with certainty that it's scientifically impossible for anything to make your hair grow faster because hair growth is genetically/biologically predisposed. The average hair growth per month for human beings is 1/2 inch.
Deeli is absolutely correct. Hair and nails grow at a steady pace, and there is nothing you can do to make them grow faster. Any internet site that tells you otherwise is spouting nonsense.
There is a Mane and Tail shampoo, here its at Walgreen's. Made for horses and it makes hair stronger, so it won't break off. Therefore it does appear that your hair is getting longer. The only way to really make your hair grow longer, faster, and stronger, better than ever is with Biotin. That is a supplement, and YES it is for healthy hair, skin and nails. Helps all three. Its is proven. You can take double what your daily requirements are, not hurt you in anyway to speed up the process.
Since I have been taking it my nails grow 1/8in. per week, my hair about 2 in in less than 6 weeks. All of these facts can be found on internet. At the Vitamin Store, GNC they have products with this in it. I order mine. Biotin can not be found in food we eat. If you want please contact me, if you can't find it where you live. Be happy to give you number. My daughter found it, so I know its out there. One product is called Healthy hair, skin and nails. Look for biotin being main supplement.
I found this out when my nails were slitting. I take 2 per day, know lady who took 3 and her hair that had been cut way too short was around 5 inches longer in 2 months. Please goggle it and read all about this supplement. Good luck and blessings.
No offence, Luana, but there is no way in heck that your hair and nails grow as fast as you're claiming because it is 'scientifically' impossible. Of the hundreds and hundreds of clients I had over a 35 year hair styling career only two of them had hair that grew faster than a half inch a month (theirs was about one inch per month) and that was because it was a genetic trait in their family.
You mention to check out proof on the internet that you can increase the speed of growth but if you take a good look you'll find all of those sites are touting sales of some type of products and/or are wishful thinking/old wives tales similar to 'your hair and nails keep growing after you die': Not! It just 'appears' they still grow because the body dehydrates.
And a word of caution about ingesting any kind of supplements. If you take prescription medications and/or have health issues be sure to talk to your doctor first because taking supplements can adversely affect/interact with medications and can also cause further damage with certain health problems.
