Apple Cake Bar (For Diabetics)

Ingredients

  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 Tbsp. Splenda (any artificial sweetener)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup margarine (melted)
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice

Fruit Mixture:

  • 2 cups raw apples (chopped)
  • 1 cup raisins (could use dates if wanted)chopped
  • Ad

  • 1 cup walnut pieces (nutmeats of choice)

Directions

Mix the first items together in the order given. Then add the fruit mixture. Put in an 8x10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
