Appetizer Meatballs


  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Ad
  • 2-3 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion


Mix all meatball ingredients together. Shape into small 1 inch balls. Place in baking dish in single layer.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • barbecue sauce (opt.)

Sauce Directions

Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Yield: about 9 dozen meatballs
