Bathroom Paint Color Advice

How should I use brown, green, and possibly beige colors in my bathroom? What color for walls, trim, and cabinets? My bathroom is not large, but not tiny. I have a beige sink with a marble white and beige counter top, brushed nickle fixtures, white cabinets, beige shower. It has glass doors, so I can't accent with a shower curtain. The tile is mingled with brown, gray, and beige. I want to use a brown and green theme, I love those colors together. How do you suggest I use those colors and not make my bathroom look too dark? I have two big windows in the bathroom, but we live in a shaded area (lots of trees).

You can accent with a shower curtain. Our first house had sliding shower doors that no matter what I used to clean them, they always looked dingy. I bought 2 tension shower rods and a patterned shower curtain and a pair of Priscilla curtains. I put the patterned shower curtain just about an inch above the top rail of the shower doors and then about 1 inch over that I put the rod with the Priscillas. I used self stick cup holders for the priscilla tie backs. Not only did this hide the ugly doors and save us the cost of replacing them as they were still usable but I could recycle the curtains to change the decor very inexpensively be checking thrift stores!
