Since you havent supplied us with the exact model and series number of your Toyota sewing machine it makes it difficult to help. However, I have found a Toyota sewing machine help site that has all the instruction manuals for the different series and model numbers. Please go to the site and select your series and model number. The manuals are PDF documents and easy to download and read on your computer. Otherwise, look on the tag on your sewing machine and post the series and model number.

You need to disengage the wheel to wind the bobbin. Turn the inside wheel to do this. When the wheel is engaged, it sews; when disengaged, you can wind the bobbin.

If you don't have your manual anymore, look up your machine online and you can download one.

You just move the little switch to which position you want . It's just not engaging to refil your bobbin , it stays in the sewing motion , so filling the bobbin the neddle goes up & down instead of staying still

On my machine you just move the small switch to the position you want , the last few days I've noticed that moving it to the " fill bobbin " position just doesn't work , you move it but it's not engaging in that position , it stays in the sewing motion & neddle goes up & down even though it's in the refil bobbin position

Some noted help links are not working.
There is probably a simple solution but you may need someone to walk you through the steps.
I would suggest that you contact your local Toyota store and ask for help (easy to find if you are not familiar with their location - Google Toyota service store with your zip code and if one is not in your area you can call any center listed).

Toyota has a web site that offers free manuals and also a contact form to ask your questions.
