When you need to buy celery do you know how to pick a good one? Well, take the stalk of celery and push on the end of the stalk with your finger. If it's soft and gives when you push it, don't buy it. Keep checking the stalks till you find an end that is firm and that's the one you want to buy. To keep celery longer in the fridge, wrap it in tin foil.
