- 1/2 to 1 stick margarine
- chicken parts, as needed
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place margarine in a 9x13 inch pan, and place in oven until melted. Dip chicken pieces in margarine; then lay aside. Mix the rice (white or brown or Minute rice will all work fine); onion soup mix, cream soup, 2 cups water and 1/2 tsp. salt in the pan. Place pieces of chicken on the top, and bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until pieces of chicken are tender and browned.
