Place ice cream scoop in a tall drinking glass. Place coffee granules in measuring cup, slowly add soda and let granules dissolve. Slowly pour soda over ice cream and serve.

Yummy. If you added some chocolate and changed up the lemon-lime with club soda you would have an ice cream chocolate fosfate. (And you are right about the French Roast)
