Paint Color Advice

I am about to put in cherry laminate floors. I have browny red leather furniture and all the trim is a dark wood. What colour should I paint my walls. There isn't much natural light in the room.

Instead of light yellow, do cream. Still has the warmth like yellow but not as cheap looking. (09/25/2006)

I would take "samples" of the floor and furniture colors and start comparing them to samples of cream colored paint . There are so many shades of cream - you will find one that reflects your colors just right. Also, lots of places will custom mix colors to suit your exact tint. (09/26/2006)
