You need to find out the manufacturer and look up their website - often manufacturers have replacement parts available on their websites. You can get the specs from there, as well, and try to find the replacement cheaper on ebay. Or find out the manufacturer's 1-800 number. Most companies have a customer care line. I was able to find out information about a replacement part for a 40 year old pressure cooker from one such line.
