Tips for Helping a Blind Dog

I have a Golden Retriever who is 7 1/2 years old. She is a house pet and I just found out this past July that she has gone blind. She has a tumor behind her retina.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any hints, suggestions, or ideas that can make her life easier? We are adjusting the best that we can and she seems to be taking it in stride. Goldens are such good natured pets. I just want life easier for her, so any hints, ideas, or help of any kind will be very appreciated.
Thanks so much, in advance.

Hello,
I am so sorry about your beloved Golden. There is a site called BlindDog.com. I am sure you will be able to get any information you need. I know they also have a support group on their site. Good luck and tail wags to your fur baby.

I've had several cats that have lost their sight due to old age, the best advice I can offer is don't rearrange the furniture.
