Tomato Crostini

You can also finish with a topping of some fresh finely shredded Parmesan cheese before baking too ;-)


  • 1 French baguette, cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • Ad
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic, or more to taste
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced and halved
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake until golden, turning once, about 2 to 4 minutes.

Rub garlic evenly over one side of the slices, top with the tomatoes, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with salt, and bake until just heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
