With spring right around the corner, believe it or not, it will soon be time to check out your garden and lawn tools. If you have a broken rake, don't throw out either part. The rake part works great for a rack to small tools such as wrenches, hammers and screwdrivers. You can even decorate with it. Clean it up, give it a coat of paint, and hang it in your porch to hang coats or anything you want. I've seen them for sale for $10 on the internet as coat hangers. The handle is sturdy wood and will give stability to any top heavy plant, tomato cage, or trellis.
Use an old rake head to hang wine glasses. Just hang the rake head on the wall and hook the stemware from the tines of the rake. Also you can use it in a closet for neck ties or belts.
