What Breed is My Dog?

What breed is my dog? His name is Koa (Hawaiian) and we adopted him at the shelter. They said he was hound mix, but I'm really not sure how much identification and knowledge these folks have.

He is black, with white chest and paws. No dewclaws in front just rear. He is nearly 3 mo. now weighing about 25 lbs.
