Mention how much you enjoy attending the college, and how honored you are to receive the award. If there are any special people who have helped you succeed, mention them. Say thanks again at the end. Be heartfelt and brief.

It is a bit harder when you do not know exactly what reward you are getting. But you can write a generic speech that should cover all rewards no matter what it is. You open the speach by thanking everyone who is there.

Next, you thank the people who gave you the reward. Talk a little about the hornor you feel for being selected and then close by thanking people again.

Mostly peoples are get an award of speech by telling their emotional and inspirational story to the peoples and the audience is very sensitive and thy like their story by heartily. Audience is the most important for you to wining an award speech. So always think like people's mind and tell all the thoughts to the peoples and in last you wish to the peoples that they do the good work for people and do charity. I'm sure you can get an award speech 100%.

I would start by thanking them for bestowing the award on you. Then mention that it takes a village to raise a child, and at this point you can mention the principal, teachers, etc.

Be modest and say that without their help you would have not been able to accomplish as much as you did.

Always use your own words. Keep it short and light-hearted. Thank them for the award and perhaps mention the daily work the school does throughout the year, through ups and downs, and say they also deserve an award!

Below are a couple of things to consider while preparing your speech.

  • The best advice I can give you is to know what you are going to say before hand. Write it out on index cards if you have to so you wont forget once you get up there in front of everyone.

  • People like to know how their money is being used, so you might include something about what is hoped to be accomplished and the importance of the issue you have asked for people to be invested in. Let them know what differences their contributions have made or will make and that their efforts are appreciated.
  • Also, I would thank the people who have helped you. Your fellow fundraisers if this was a group or team effort that you led or directed or any behind the scenes people whom might otherwise be overlooked.
  • Lastly I would add something personal about why this was important for you to do and thank the people whom are recognizing you at the school. Like who ever organized it and the people who came in support of the school.

Best of luck and Congratulations!

That is wonderful your college is awarding you for successful fundraising, congratulations!

Id start out with a little background story on why you wanted to fundraise like for the foundation and a little about the foundation so people have a little idea if theyre not familiar with it.

Then thank all those who helped you (or if you did it alone how passionate you were to devote time, efforts in succeeding). And youre very honored to recieve this award.

It seems maybe that you are getting an award for something at your school? We can give you suggestions but from English to Hindi part will be up to you to translate.

  • Start your speech with a 'Thank you'
  • You need to be grateful about the fact that your efforts have been acknowledged and therefore make it a point to be grateful. You could start your speech by thanking all those who have nominated or recommended you to receive the honor. A very simple thank you (and name anyone who was in charge of selection process).
  • Thank those who have helped you: Did you have help? Even support from family? Then you should acknowledge those people.
  • Mention the name of the award: I would like to thank 'name school/school organization/or? as this award means a lot to me and I will always remember this experience with gratitude.

Thank you speeches should always be short and to the point but should be able to convey that you are grateful for the award.

If you need further help you can Google need help with thank you speech and you will probably see a lot of suggestions.
Congratulations on receiving this award and good luck on making your speech.

Thank you speech:

  1. Open with a greeting to the audience, such as good evening ladies and gentlemen. If there are special guest there you'll want to name them too.
  2. Now you'll tell them a little about you. Such as you're retired and what organizations that you work with.
  3. Afterwards, tell them what an honor the award is for you.
  4. Keep this short, it doesn't have to be too long.
  5. Now write your closing by thanking the committee once again for the award, how honored you are, and how you look forward to another great year.

Well done, Zaharaddeen. I'd keep it short and simple.
"Thank you. I'm really pleased and proud to receive this award. It's been a great course and I've made some good friends. I hope we keep in touch. Thank you all."
Something like that. If you are good at speaking to an audience you could bring in something memorable that happened on the course and perhaps thank the tutors. Best of luck.

I will be receiving an award at work soon and would like to express my thanks to my coworkers. I am very shy and would like to know what to say after receiving the award. I am looking for something quick and short. I read in a book that the 2 words "thank you" is really all that is needed. Can you advise?

Say something like: "It's hard for me to express myself because I'm so shy. But believe me when I say "thank you" because it comes from the bottom of my heart."

Stating something about how much this award means to you to receive it; how much it is appreciated and making sure to thank all those responsible. Long speeches are boring, but a few direct to the point statements holds everyone's interest and you won't appear shy, but confident.

State how much this award means to you. Thanking those responsible in helping you to obtain such an award and that you appreciate those who noticed your skills, work ethics and who felt you earned this honor. A few direct statements makes you appear confident and not shy.

Congratulations on your award. You have a good employer who recognizes good people and obviously wants to keep you.

How about something like "Thank you for this award for ______. I'm very pleased and honored to win it this year. It means a lot to me. Thank you to my supervisor (name) and my co-workers (names, names) for helping me to do my job well."

I feel it will be more professional if you mention the award and how pleased you are to receive it, rather than to say how shy you are, with the possible inference that you do not deserve the award. Trust the people who are giving the award. They say you deserve it, so you deserve it. Congratulations again.

Presuming your 15 years with the company have been good ones, MN, why not concentrate your remarks on thanking the individuals who i) recognized your ability and took the opportunity to hire you, ii) those among your co-workers who helped you with projects through the years, iii) anyone who mentored you / helped your career and perhaps iv) the owner(s) who provide jobs and products / services. Good luck, and congratulations!

Be sure and say how grateful you are for the good working relationship you with the schools, and thank them for the honor. An interesting story that illustrates your work with them would be good; as would a funny story, as long as it makes everyone involved feel good, not embarrassed. Good luck!

Sounds like a very nice "honor" for anyone/company to receive. I always found the best speeches were very short and included lots of thanks to other people/companies for their assistance/contributions. Also nice if you know of any actual "deed" where someone benefited from this "merger" between your company and the schools. If possible, try not to use "I" in any sentence.

Google a short question:
need help with receiving a reward speech.
There are lots of ideas/programs with "ready made" speeches that you can adopt/use to make your own.
