Regifting Tip

When you receive a gift that is not suitable for you, be sure to make a note of who gave it to you originally. Don't regift it to someone that knows the original gift giver OR regift to the person who gave it to you, too embarrassing!

Be sure there is no trace of an old card in the gift you are passing on.

This is a great idea for the newlyweds who just recently got married and "don't have two cents to rub together", but do have doubles and triples of items that they will never need two or three of. Yes, be sure to keep track of who gave it to you so you won't give it back to them or a close friend or relative of theirs.

When you are regifting, always slip a post-a-note or a piece of paper in with the item as to who gave it to you and when so you don't inadvertently end up giving the gift back to the original sender. Also, always try to keep all regifting items in a container or box so that you know where they are when it's time to give a gift.
