Fruit Kebabs with Honey Yogurt Dipping Sauce

Here's a great after school snack for kids. It's amazing how much nutritious food kids will eat when you put it on a stick and let them dip it in sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. honey, or to taste
  • 3 cups fresh fruit such as melon, pineapple, strawberries, and grapes, cut into bite-size chunks

Directions:

Combine yogurt and honey in a small bowl and stir until smooth. Thread fruit onto 4 bamboo skewers and serve with yogurt mixture.

PER SERVING: 104 Cal., 2g Fat (1g Sat.), 8mg Chol., 2g Fiber, 3g Pro., 20g Carb., 30mg Sod.

Safety tip: Snip the pointy end off the skewers before serving the kebobs to young kids. A nail clipper works well.
