Salt Substitute Recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for making your own seasoned salt substitute, i.e. seasoned salt without any salt?

1 tbs black pepper
1 tbs white pepper
1 tbs cumin seeds
1 tbs fennel seeds
1 tbs ginger powder
1tbs cloves
1 tbs mint
1 tbs rosemary
1 tbs basil
1 tbs thyme
1 tbs curry leaves
I put all the ingredients in a blender till its fine
I had it to fine salt, its your choice.

This might work for you.

2 t. garlic powder
1 t. basil
1 t. dill weed
1 t. oregano
1 t. powdered lemon rind

Blend well. Stir in salt shaker.

No Salt Seasoned Mix Recipe

Ready in: < 30 minutes

Makes: 2 tbsp

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds, ground
1/8 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (for heat)
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon dried course ground lemon peel

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Store in a covered container or a sealed shaker bottle.

NO SALT SEASONING MIX

1/4 c. onion powder
1/4 c. paprika
2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. lemon peel
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dill seed

Mix in blender until well blended. Makes 3/4 cup seasoning.
Recommended for those on "no salt or low salt" diet
