Dear Bob, as I grow almonds for living, we use them every day. And our Dalmatian who is now 19 , by the way , has been munching them every night, loves them. Actually eats them when they fall off the tree.

While we are on the subject of dog health -arthritis & general wellbeing.
Apple cider vinegar (unpasteurized for the antibiotics) -2 tablespoons & 1 teaspoon of Cold Spun Honey ( for enzymes & vitamins) add to dogs meal , will baulk at first then will accept willingly.
We were given this recipe when our dogs back legs made it difficult for him to walk with arthritis within a month, improvement. I know many people take this too, daily, as we do

Most nuts should be avoided -- macadamia nuts especially.
