- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 egg, beaten
- 8 oz. sausage
- 8 oz. bacon slices, cut into thirds
Melt margarine in water in saucepan; remove from heat. add stuffing mix, egg and sausage; mix well. Chill for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Shape into pecan-sized balls; wrap with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Place on rack in baking pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees F; turn. Bake another 20 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot. Makes 2 dozen.
