What are the chocolate stars? Do you have to use them? Any flour?

No- don't add flour- and yes, they are unbelievably good. Last time I made them I dipped one half the cookie in melted chocolate chips and then into crushed peanuts. Looked elegant on a dessert plate full of other goodies and tasted divine!
