Garden: Unknown Rose

This is the only rose on this bush right now. It is always fun to find a bargain at the $.99 store, even if they have taken the name tags off. This is not a miniature rose bush, but it is smaller than most.


I wonder if anyone can tell me why the blooms end up with "freckles" as they get older? They are almost a burgundy color. Looks like they have measles. GG Vi

Not sure of the exposure of your rose or you climate. My first guess would be that the bloom got sun on it when it had water/dew on the petals.
