I need suggestions for improving my concentration. Sometimes I just can't face looking at these math books. But I don't have the luxury of saying, "Forget it!"

Thanks,

Holly from Richardson, TX

If your are in college sometimes you can get free help.
Other students tutor for FREE in some schools ask your
math teacher about this. I would go in and especially before a major test I would go in for at least 30 mins.
My test scores were high and I learned more than I thought
possible.

Try to be more active in your study. Write down confusing parts into a notebook. Cross reference things. Do the relevant homework question right after studying the topic, to verify your understanding. If the book has answers, check those answers against your problems.

Also, if you have a big task, break it down into steps, on paper. Work through the list.
