I have heard of people walking through the glass because they think the door is open and it's really closed. In my patio. I have hung a little bird nest wreath with a suction cup hanger to remind people the door is closed. Do not walk into the glass.

I also have a post-it note near the bottom of the door that goes from our kitchen out onto our patio so that our cats don't go running into it when it's closed.

This is an important tip. A friend's son went through a sliding glass door & died. Thanks for the tip.
