Fresh Strawberry Pie

A summer favorite!


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. red food coloring
  • 3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder
  • Ad
  • 1-2 pints strawberries


Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and coloring together until clear and thick. Remove from stove, and stir in gelatin powder. Cool. Clean and drain berries. Cut large ones in half and leave small ones whole. Place berries in cooled pie crust and pour the sugar mixture over them. Refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream.

Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
