Cigarette Smoke Odors in Computer

Unplug the power cord to the tower before doing this. For computer towers at my work that stink, we just put them in an unused area with the side panel of the tower off to let them air out just so we don't have to sit there all day smelling it. Just make sure animals can't get in it during that time. Some quick sprays of canned air on the inside may also dislodge some of the dust inside that maybe causing the smell too. I would do this in the outdoors because dust usually flys everywhere! This is usually enough for our computers to not stink as bad. We have a couple hundred home agents and sometimes we get some computers back that stink like perfume or smoke or cigars or other things.

A charcoal briquette can always help, if you have room inside the computer, don't know. Vinegar always help, but you should not put it inside a computer.
