Just mix equal parts of water and distilled vinegar and the glass will be just as clean. If the windows, or mirrors, are not really dirty I just use 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 water. A trick for streak less windows with little effort is to never wash them when the sun is shining on them ;-) Posted on 07/24/2009 | Report Spam or Abuse RE: Making Your Own Glass Cleaner By smathis123 (27) Profile Contact I have one and it works very well. 1 C ammonia 1/2 C white vinegar 1 gallon of water 1 drop of blue food coloring (optional) Mix together and pour some in a spray bottle and keep the rest in a gallon jug.
