I need to buy a new shower faucet. I am looking at an anti-scald one. Has anyone had any experience with these? I've been told that they cut down on the water pressure at the shower spout. Can you recommend a brand name? Any information would be so useful. Thank you in advance.

Just set your water heater temperature-dial to a lower temperature setting AND you'll save money too!!

I would go with a name brand like Moen or Delta Faucets. That way you can be
assured of getting service parts when needed. With most you need to limit the
temperature manually to below 120 degrees.

The reduction in flow is not that noticeable.
