Request: Printing Cartridge In on Clothing

Archived on 10/29/2006

How do I get ink from a printer cartridge out of a pink 100% cotton top which can not be bleached?

Thanks,
Judy

RE: Printing Cartridge In on Clothing

Hi Judy!

I gather the ink is everywhere. Hairspray has removed every kind of ink I've ever tried it on, and never hurt the fabric or dye. I would try buying a bottle of non-aerosol hairspray, any kind, pouring it into a basin or sink, and hand-washing the top in that. Soak it and then try to work the ink out.

If you are just dealing with spots, then just spray it where you need it.

Good Luck! (07/16/2005)
