Chocolate Pudding

This is really yummy and a family favourite.


  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • Ad
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. self-raising flour
  • 1 cup milk


Cream together butter and sugar, add egg yolks (ONLY), beat well. Add flour, cocoa, then milk and vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Place mixture into cooking dish. Place cooking dish into dish of water (1/2 way up) and bake slowly in oven for 1 hour. Check when cooking as time may vary depending on your oven.

Servings: 4-5
Prep Time: 5-10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 60 Minutes

The recipe doesn't say how hot the oven should be to cook the pudding slowly.
