French Madelines

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups butter (not margarine)

Directions

Stir eggs and sugar in top of double boiler until creamy and lukewarm. Remove from heat and beat until cool. Add flour gradually, mixing well. Fold in butter and vanilla. Butter and flour madelines mold pan; fill 2/3 full. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
