Keeping Lidless Jar Candles Clean
To keep a jar candle fresh when the lid is missing simply turn the (unlit) jar upside down after wax hardens.

you could also lay plastic wrap over the dried wax this works really well for gel candles the dust really sticks to them just remember to remove it before lighting again.
