I found a suede cleaning kit in the shoe department. It has a rubber eraser like thing that works great. You might check around the shoe department and see what you can find. Good luck :)
Use an old toothbrush, don't brush too hard (at first). If necessary, stick the garment in the fridge for a bit before continuing to brush away as much as possible. Thereafter, run cold water onto the affected area. Continue brushing. If it's a dark stain on light fabric, use a bit of gentle soap on that spot alone. Good luck!
