Liver Rice Casserole


  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Ad
  • 1 lb. liver
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar


Mix together the cooked rice and milk. Add the egg. The onion must be chopped fine and fried in butter before mixing with rice-milk mixture. Stir in salt and pepper and raisins. Liver can be put through meat grinder or cut fine. Add sugar. Stir the liver into rice mixture and put in buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until set. Serves 6.
