Ingredients
- 4 cups canned peaches
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- dash salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cold water
Directions
Arrange peaches in greased 9x13 inch baking pan. In mixing bowl combine batter and 1/3 cup sugar. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Pour over peaches and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Pour cold water over top. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35-40 minutes and until lightly golden. Very good served with vanilla ice cream.
