Use String to Mark Packing Tape End

If you find it hard to locate the end on packing or strapping tape, place a thin ribbon or string under the last portion where you removed tape from roll. Next time it's easy to just lift and use. No more picking and searching for beginning of roll.

I'd vote for the paperclip. They're reusable.

Or you could just fold the end over on itself so that the very end doesn't stick down....duh!

Folding the tape has its own issues, too. I use a paperclip under the end of the tape.

I usually don't have any string or ribbon around when I need it. I just fold the end of the tape under a little bit so I can find the end easily next time.
