Lasagna I

Ingredients

  • 1 package lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 med. onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 cans tomato sauce

Directions

Cook noodles. Brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir into meat, the mixture of all of the seasonings and tomato sauce. Simmer 20 minutes. Arrange in layers in greased 9x13 inch pan, ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 6 to 8.

Lasagna II

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. dill
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 small chili pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 package lasagna noodles
  • cooked spinach
  • cottage cheese
  • mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

Chop medium onion; cook in 1 Tbsp. oil until partially done. Add 1 1/2 lb. hamburger and garlic powder. Brown meat; add tomato paste, tomatoes, parsley, dill, oregano, chili pepper, salt and pepper. Cook above for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cook 1 package lasagna noodles. Cool. Layer lasagna in large baking dish with a layer of meat sauce, cooked spinach, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese, shredded. Repeat. Bake at 450 degrees F for 1 hour.

Lasagna III

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (reg. size)
  • 1 qt. whole canned tomatoes, drain half of juice
  • 1 large container cottage cheese
  • 3 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 box lasagna noodles, cooked, drained

Directions

Brown onion and ground beef; drain. In a large saucepan combine seasonings, sauce, tomatoes and juice, beef, onions and mushrooms. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes. Place cottage cheese, Parmesan and eggs in a bowl; stir well. To prepare lasagna, grease pan. Place layer of noodles on bottom. Place half of cheese mixture on this; then half meat mix. Place 1 1/2 cups mozzarella onto the meat. Repeat the layer again ending with remaining noodles and the remainder of mozzarella on top. Bake, covered with foil, at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Remove foil; bake an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is browned in areas and bubbly. Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes before serving.

Lasagna IV

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (32 oz.)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 16 oz. mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 box lasagna noodles

Directions

Brown ground beef and mix with spaghetti sauce. Combine eggs, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Layer in a 9x13 inch pan - sauce, cheese mix, and noodles. Repeat. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes.
