Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  • little onion
  • 1 qt. tomatoes and juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. dry lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Brown hamburger and onion; drain off grease. Add tomatoes, water, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, and salt; mix well. In 9x13 inch pan, place a layer of sauce, a layer of uncooked noodles, a layer of cheese, more sauce, repeat layers and top with more cheese. Cover pan with waxed paper and then foil. Can refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Take out of oven and keep covered 1/2 hour and then serve.
