Same question. Would like to do this for a Family Party next Saturday. What do you do with the coconut and whipped cream? Thanks, the cake sounds out of this world!

Sounds it will be pretty sweet. Where does the Whipped cream & coconut come into place, you seem to left it out?

Not to ruin your recipe, but I wonder how it would taste topped with Whipped cream/ vanilla pudding/coconut mixture. I knew a lady who makes her own frosting with cool whip and a package unprepared chocolate pudding... its like a mousse, very delicious and not overly sweet.
