Put your seed packet row markers in an upside-down closed zip lock bag and secure it with a clothes pin, the rain will stay out and the wind won't blow it away. Also, face it away from the direction of the sun and it won't get sun bleached so quickly.

  • Tip: Marking Seed Rows (06/11/2009)
Use paper seed packages as markers for rows of seeds. Just cover the seed package with clear contact paper to prevent it from the elements and slip over a small stake.

RE: Marking Seed Rows

Hi. That is a good idea for marking rows. I use old CD's and DVD's also, and write on them what is in that row that I planted. (03/24/2009)
