I've just moved into a new flat. My cat is 9 years old now an he's moved before. Any tips on how I can make it easier for him to settle in?

There is a product called Feliway Comfort Zone that is designed to be soothing to a stressed cat. The site drsfostersmith.com (http://tinyurl.com/n5rjn) carries it Check out the articles on the site too -- I've found them to be very helpful.

You can find Feliway products at vet's offices, various pet websites and on eBay. Good luck with your sweet kitty.

I have always been told that buttering a cats paws when you get to the new place will get them grooming, relaxing and settling in. I tried it 3 years ago when we moved 5 hour drive from our home, thinking it couldn't hurt anything...and Curtis our cat settled right into the new house quite easily.
