Keeping Greens Longer |
Here's a tip to keep greens for longer periods, eg. curry leaves or coriander leaves and spring onions. Keep them in a plastic container or in a jar with a tight lid so that it is airtight. The leaves will remain green for 10 to 12 days.

RE: Keeping Greens Longer
To keep lettuce fresh I sit it in a bowl of water; I take the leaves I want and make sure the stem hasn't healed over before replacing in the water. If the stem has healed, just slice a slivver off.
