Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup honey
4 cups flour
1 1/3 tsp. soda
2//3 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped

Directions

Cream sugar and butter together. Add rest of ingredients. Chill dough. Shape a teaspoonful of dough into a ball. Place on a greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork that has been dipped in water. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup dates, raisins, nuts or coconut, opt.

Directions

Cream butter, sugar, and honey. Add egg and beat until smooth. Add remaining ingredients including any desired optional ones. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 7 to 9 minutes or until set and light brown. Let stand on sheet a few minutes before removing to rack to cool. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
